Scene 1:4

” Mom l swear! If my daughter doesn’t wake up. I wil…….” Thelma screamed, Mr Smith grabbed her by the arm and asked her not to say anything bad. She nodded and left the room where Diana slept like a statue whilst her whole family watched in awe. Thelma came back again,

“By the way where is the boy Diana died for?”

“Please sweetheart, she is not dead”

Grandma lead the family to Luke, when grandma opened the door Luke and Jack (his son) were laughing. When Mr Smith and Luke’s eyes met,

“Did my daughter save his son?” said Thelma and Mr Smith in unison.

“Yes, why do you sound so…?”

“Mom this is Luke!”

“Luke, Smith’s brother!”

“Yes”

Deneo, Darlington and Jack were asked to leave the room. Deneo couldn’t help it but stare at Jack who felt uncomfortable.

“You don’t have to stare like that you know” Jack couldn’t take it anymore.

Back in the room,

“Why did you do that to my daughter, Luke? You are back to destroy me again? How could you stoop so low?”

“Please hear me out, first. I didn’t know that she is your daughter. I swear please, my son was sick and Dee offered to help. She is a lovely kid. She saved m…..”

“Aren’t you ashamed of yourself Luke, is it because l chose him instead of you”

“Let’s all calm down” said grandma.

They all kept silent just for the sake of their respect for her but the angry breaths overpowered the respect for her. The pain of the past 26 years flashed back into everyone’s mind.
