Scene 2:2

Jack and his father were in their gymn when they heard a knock. Luke wiped his sweat and went to open the door, Jack plugged in his headphones and continued. As Luke opened the door, a slap flashed as it landed on his faced. He was horrified to see grandma that furious, he held his slapped cheek with one hand as he watched grandma, storm into his house as if it was her own palace.

“Nice place you have here, l see you have made something out of your pathetic little life!” with a groan like smile. She placed her jacket and handbag on the couch but she remained standing. “Why did you come back after so many years?”

“This is my hometown” he said, seemingly struggling to pull himself together.

“No! No l don’t buy that crap!”

“Okay” laughs.

“Listen here my boy,” draws closer to him and stands just a hair strand away, “If l ever see you near my family, what l did to you 26 years ago will be nothing as compared to what l will do now!”

“Tell, you what woman, l am done running. I am here to stay, if you or anyone has a problem let them go to hell for all l care!”

After throwing words and threats at each other’s face, grandma picked up her bag and jacket. She veered to leave,

“let me meet my daughter just once and I swear l will leave you guys alone”

“What! You must have a loose screw!” Jack walked in and greeted grandma but she didn’t respond and just stormed out of the house.

“Dad what was t…” He didn’t finish because Luke just left him engulfed in the suspense cloud.
